You’ve just created your venue or service listing and you might be wondering, what next? How do I let people know about my listing, how do I share my listing with friends and potential customers? The FunctionVenues™ team has your back, we’ve made it really easy for you to share your listing online so without further adieu... here is the how-to:
Social Media Widget:
Whether you are logged in or out of FunctionVenues™ there is handy Social Media and Sharing widget on the left-hand side of every page on our website. Each of these buttons is integrated with the respective Social Media or sharing platform so by clicking the button you can share the actual page you are on to that platform. Here's an example:
Click on the icon of the platform you’d like to share the page to, for example, Facebook. Once you click this a pop up will appear with a pre-populated post for your profile (if you aren’t logged in you will be prompted to do so). Say something about the link, for example, “Check out my new listing on FunctionVenues™” and then click Post to Facebook. That’s it, you’re done! In a matter of seconds, you’ve just let your followers and/or friends know where to find you and they'll be able to visit your listing by clicking on the link!
